Ron Draper

Ron has over 30 years of work experience in financial services, auctions and real estate. He started his banking career while in college and served in various capacities as a Marketing Officer, Project Manager, Loan Officer, Operations Manager, Vice President and President/CEO of several Massachusetts banks and credit unions. While in the financial services arena he was the Chairman of the Board of the nation’s first corporate credit union, as well as being elected Director and current Vice Chairman of the Cooperative Credit Union Association (representing close to 200 credit unions in the states of Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Rhode Island and Delaware).  In 1998 Ron received his auctioneer training at the Yankee School of Auctioneering and has been a licensed auctioneer for over 20 years. While working as a full-time foreclosure auctioneer at Baystate Auction Company from 2006 until 2010, and as a foreclosure auctioneer with Tache Auctions & Real Estate in 2010, he conducted over 2,000 foreclosures during this busy sub-prime recession period.

Ron received his BS in Business Administration from Boston College, an MBA from Southern New Hampshire University, training and certification from the Community Dispute Settlement Center as a confidential court mediator, a JD (Juris Doctorate) from the Massachusetts School of Law, and National Auctioneer Association approved training as an Estate Specialist and Benefit Auction Specialist.  Mr. Draper is Chief Executive Officer of a Boston area credit union as well as a licensed Massachusetts attorney, auctioneer, real estate broker and small business consultant.  Ron is also a licensed New Hampshire auctioneer, and his program is approved for reciprocity in the states of Florida, Illinois, Kentucky, Mississippi, New Hampshire, North Carolina and Tennessee. Ron also served as a past President of the Massachusetts Auctioneer Association, the state’s auctioneer trade industry group.
